Videos

We decided to do some videos of Aaron and Ryan and wanted to share them with our out of town family and friends. We hope you enjoy!

Here is a video of Ryan visiting with Aaron. Ryan looks like a giant!

If you want to see a video of Ryan singing Blues Clues let me know and I will post it! I didn't post it b/c it's kinda hard to understand.

Here's also a picture of the boys just chillin....I can't believe how much bigger Ryan is!!!

Excersaucer

Aaron has decided he does like the excersaucer and we took some pictures of him enjoying his time in there. I've added a picture of Ryan so you can compare yet again...I think it's fun to see the comparison and see how much and yet how different they are already!

Ryan is a couple of weeks older here-don't ask about the PBW...it's a long story!

New Breman Zirkles

Our cousins from New Breman decided to stop by and say hello one evening! We had a wonderful visit and Matthew and David got to meet Aaron! It was fun watching them interact w/ the boys. Especially David since they aren't sure he's ever held a baby before! Here are a few pictures of the evening! We definitely need to get together for a game night!

Matthew and Ryan cheesing it up!

David and the boys...I'm not sure he looks very happy :)

David just chillin w/ Aaron...I'm not sure he's even really holding him :)
FYI-Matthew did hold Aaron quite a while too, but the only picture I have of that is from our little photographer and it wasn't a very good picture!

Aaron four month check-up!

On Aaron's 4 month birthday he went to see the MD. He is doing very well and weighed in at 16 lbs and 25 1/4 inches long. Both are the 75th percentile! He is still a little behind what Ryan was at 4 months. He was 17 lbs 15 oz and 26 1/2 inches long!

Ryan story

Since I've been writing mostly about Aaron...I thought I would share a Ryan story from today. I have been working a lot of hours because various people have been on vacation....basically I've been full time....well, tonight at supper, Ryan gave me a hug and kiss which is not unusual for my affectionate child! However, a little bit later he looked over at me and said "I miss you mommy!" Paul and I couldn't believe what he had said, and we still wonder if he truly knows what it means! Overall it just makes me very glad that I don't work full time!

Found his tongue!

This weekend Aaron found his tongue! He has been sticking it out like crazy--it is the cutest thing!

Also thought I would put a picture of Ryan up at this age so you can see how much they are starting to look alike! The only difference is that Ryan was still quite a bit bigger then Aaron is!

Favorite way to sleep!

After 3 months I finally figured out that Aaron sleeps a lot better on his right side! Since he's been healthy (he had a cold), and his ezcema is under control, he's been sleeping almost all night! He'll take a bottle at 10:00 and then not need another one until 5 ish! However, he has to be on his side! We have a positioner in his crib, so I'm not too worried about him rolling over on his tummy! It's been nice to get some real sleep! However, if his skin is bothering him, then it's a fussy night ahead for me and him!

Speaking of rolling over, he's not "officially" done it yet, but he has rolled from his back to his belly on the bed....it won't be long!!!

Aaron is no longer the youngest in the family!

After only being in this world for 3 months and 1 day, Aaron has been relieved of being the youngest grandchild! My brother and his wife had another baby girl on Feb 13th. She was 6lbs 11oz, 19 inches long, and named Kaitlyn Anne. Here are a couple of pictures that were sent to us from GA!

Our photographer.....take 2!

Ok, so it's a couple of weeks later and Ryan got ahold of the camera again! He is doing much better in that there aren't any fingers in the picture AND he's zoomed on people, not just random objects! Now, we just need to work on his aim and centering abilities!

Here is Aaron on his 3 month birthday! My how he has grown! I didn't do any close up pictures at this time b/c his face and head looked horrible! He had a severe flare-up of ezcema and cradle cap! We did go to the MD for some medicine and it has been helping as long as I am diligent in lotioning him up at least once a day! The worse part is that his hair started coming out in clumps! Now I say that he looks like an old man b/c he has a bunch of hair in back and very little on top! He almost has the comb-over look since not all of it fell out!

Our photographer!

Sorry it has been sooo long since I've updated the blog! It's been crazy since I went back to work in Feb. Granted I am only working either 2 or 3 days a week, but it's hard to get adjusted to having two kids, keeping the laundry and house clean, and go to Paul's b-ball games! Life will get better b/c Paul's tourny game is on Wed...which means the end is near and I will have my husband back :)

On to the kids, since we have been taking some pictures of Aaron, Ryan has decided he wants in on the action! I've attached a few pictures from his first time shooting the camera! We need to work on keeping his fingers OUT of the pics! Also, these are only a few of the 45 pictures he took before we knew it! Thank goodness for digital cameras!

Paul decided to get in on the action to and I've attached a couple pictures of the boys....this is from the end of January!

Notice that Aaron still has all of his hair!

My boys just chillin!
