I couldn't get this to work in the previous post, so I will put it here. This is a video of Ryan and Aaron meeting their baby sister for the first time and learning her name. Aaron has definitely warmed up to her after first meeting her.

Alyssa Marie Sadler - Part 1
On 10/21 at 10:21 am, Alyssa Marie Sadler joined the world and the Sadler family! Ryan and Aaron are very excited to have a little sister. Alyssa was 7 pounds 8 ounces, and 20 inches long. I will leave it up to Kim to fill in more details, but it was the quickest delivery of the 3. There was one moment of panic when Kim was ready to push, and the only person in the room was me! I told her later that if there ever was a time to panic, that was it! Anyway, the purpose of this post is to put up adorable pictures taken in the hospital, so here we go:
Alyssa at about 5 minutes of age....she was just weighed and is about to be measured. First one that didn't come out with blonde hair!
Alyssa with one of the many "It's a girl!" bubble gum cigars that Daddy had to hand out.
Alyssa with her eyes wide open, checking out Mommy! Alyssa was very alert after being born.
Mommy and Daddy's first picture with our little girl!
Leaving the delivery room.
Grandma and Papa Clement
Ryan giving Alyssa a hug while Ryan and Grandma Sadler look on.
Even Papa Sadler held the little one!
Alyssa with a present, a fluffy basketball!

The night before
Here we are, the night before Sadler #3 makes his/her appearance. Grandma Sadler just arrived for a sleep-over with Ryan and Aaron so Mommy and Daddy can make an early morningtrip to the hospital tomorrow morning!
Here is our last picture as a family of four from tonight!
Here are some belly pictures from last week!

6 more days!
6 more days until Sadler #3 is born!
I asked the boys if they think they are going to get a brother or sister. Aaron thinks that he will be getting a sister. Ryan thinks that he will be getting another brother. Aaron then changed his mind to brother too.
Some random details:
Ryan is making a lot of progress in learning to read. He is very into Mario Kart and loves anything to do with Mario Brothers. He will also give "the look" from time to time....maybe we can get a good picture sometime.
Aaron is living up to the repuatation of a 2 year old. He can be adorable at times, and he can be a hitting machine. Since getting out of his crib, Aaron refuses to stay in his own bed...even with the new bunk beds he shares with Ryan. He will usually stay up late and will fall asleep in bed with Mommy.
The house. We have made several upgrades over the past few months, including: new flooring in dining room & kitchen, new countertops, new sink, outside light fixtures, hallway light fixtures, several rooms repainted, etc.

Summertime!!!
We have had a super busy summer! I have neglected to post pictures on here, probably because I have done so on facebook, and I was attempting to make a video of pictures from the summer so you could get an idea. I haven't been able to figure out how to do it, so I will just try and post as many of my favorites as I can! Our summer started out late because Paul had to go until the 2nd week of June d/t starting late. Then I only had two weeks off this summer since I am teaching at the collegiate level. We decided to make the most of the two weeks and go to Florida and then straight to Myrtle Beach. We were gone for a total of 16 days and NO ONE died or went insane during our long trip across the Eastern United States! Although there were times I felt like I was!
The most memorable event of the trip had to be on the way to Florida when Aaron vomited all over the car, car seat, snoopy, etc. It was in Knoxville TN and we ended up throwing away the car seat in a McDonald's dumpster. I refused to smell vomit for the next two weeks! We were close to a Target and I was able to get everything we needed to continue on! We spent the night in GA and then continued onto Orlando. Our condo was VERY nice, but were stressed out the first night because they had Tornado warnings for our area and no one seemed to care or to tell us what to do! When Paul asked the main desk they just said they don't take them seriously, only when they are hurricane warnings! Luckily there were not any tornados sighted that we know of! We spent a day in Tampa seeing some of Paul's extended family, spent a day a downtown Disney with Grandma/Papa Sadler (who where visiting the relatives), a day at Animal Kingdom, a day at Magic Kingdom and a couple of days of rest for this pregnant mama! Here are just a couple of pictures from Disney!

Preschool picnic!
Ryan had his preschool picnic this year at the local park. It was all three classes together at one picnic, so we decided that 2 more little girls wouldn't hurt :) The day started out with a demonstration from the Sherriff and his canine. Then it was time to eat followed by playtime!!! I wasn't able to make it, but both Grandma's, Gina, Emma, Kaitlyn and Aaron were able to help Ryan celebrate! Daddy was even able to make a quick appearance on his lunch break! Thanks everyone for making this such a special day!

Cousins night at the Tavern!
Brian, Gina and the girls came home just after Memorial Day. In order to celebrate we attempted to get the cousins on the Clement side together. We overtook the Tavern and had a great time catching up! The kids ended up in the back and had a BLAST with the sand and the two kittens. Luckily the kittens survived, but I am not sure how!
